About this deal

I hadn’t realised the Karvol ones have been discontinued. We too had trouble getting hold of them, but then started putting a few drops of the Karvol liquid in to the refills and reusing them – been doing this for months now with no problems. What’s the difference between karvol and Calpol? The tablet is meant for inhalation purposes, so do not chew or take it with water like any other tablet.

The number of capsules used at a time and the frequency of use may vary depending on the individual and the severity of symptoms. It is generally recommended to use one capsule at a time and inhale the vapors for a short period, such as 5-10 minutes. In all honesty, the vaporisers smell slightly different from their aromatic oils but work exactly the same with the same natural vapours! I am so incredibly happy that I bought the Calpol vapour plug after recommendations, it’s a great help for easy breathing. Suitable for the whole family, and super easy to use, if you’re struggling to get a peaceful nights sleep due to coughs, colds and congestion this Winter, I would definitely recommend adding some Klearvol to your medicine cupboard! Ingredients and Benefits Karvol Plus capsule contains menthol, chlorothymol, eucalyptol, terpinol and camphor. Camphor, menthol and eucalyptol are volatile substances and it produces a local analgesic effect, cough suppressant and cooling effect. Drug maker Indoco Remedies today announced the acquisition of an anti-cold brand Karvol Plus from Slovay Pharmaceuticals for an undisclosed amount. The turnover of the brand is Rs 6 crore. What is Chlorothymol used for?Karvol capsules must not be taken by mouth. Carefully snip the top off the capsule with a pair of scissors, pointing the top downwards, away from the face. These capsules are generally safe and do not cause any side effects. It can at times lead to burning sensation, vomiting and dryness in the nasal cavity. It should be kept away from kids and pets. Also, consult your doctor immediately as soon you witness any allergy or side effects. Precautions and Warning Related to Karvol Plus Those of you that follow me regularly will know that sleep has always been a bit of a challenge in this house. When Neve, my second daughter was born in 2016, I was convinced that I was due a good sleeper! We’d had such a rough time with my first born Erin, who woke regularly during the night and didn’t sleep through right up until she was two years old, that I never expected, a whole 3 and a half years on, that I would have another child that is yet to experience a full night’s sleep. As a result, despite being a busy working parent, juggling two kids, a business and a part time job, I am surviving on a maximum of about 5-6 hours sleep a night. It’s exhausting!

Relief from Cold and Cough Symptoms: Karvol capsules are often used to help relieve symptoms associated with colds and coughs. The vapors released from the capsules can provide temporary relief from coughs, congestion, and stuffy nose, making breathing more comfortable. Used it at bedtime as my 1 year old has a cold. I have 2 children under 5 years old so I get through lots of cold relief products usually each year. If your baby is experiencing cold or cough symptoms, it is advisable to consult with a pediatrician or healthcare professional for appropriate guidance. They can recommend suitable options for managing your baby’s symptoms, such as saline nasal drops, a cool-mist humidifier, or other age-appropriate remedies.

Suitable for babies over 3 months of age, Klearvol capsules work by delivering soothing natural vapours into your child’s bedroom through both day and night, providing comforting and nurturing support for parents trying to get their little ones to sleep. Since it had anti-inflammatory properties thus, it helps to get rid of inflammation in the respiratory tract. They also help in improving respiratory functions. Karvol capsules and drops, when used as directed for inhalation purposes, are generally well tolerated and do not typically cause significant side effects. However, in some cases, individuals may experience minor irritations or sensitivities. Here are a few potential side effects that could occur:

When did you use the inhalation capsules? How many times a year do you think you would need to use Klearvol inhalation capsules? My daughter aged 3 has had a cold. I would use it at the first sign of a sniffle or cold. I'd imagine I'd use it over the Autumn and Winter months most, so a few times a year. Karvol decongestant capsules contain various volatile, aromatic substances that have been used traditionally for many years as inhalations for their decongestant effect. The capsules are not taken by mouth; you snip the end off the capsule and squeeze the contents into hot water or onto a hankie and then inhale the vapour. The tablet can also be used for Aromatherapy as it distresses the body and relaxes the mind that further helps to reduce fatigue. Karvol Plus cap has ingredients like eucalyptol, terpineol and chlorothymol. These ingredients have antiseptic and anti-infective properties that help to cure seasonal infections. Karvol decongestant chest rub aids in relieving nasal congestion, symptoms of colds and flu and symptomatic relief from prophylaxis of bronchitis. The ointment contains a combination of aromatic oils. When released, vapours actively work to help you breathe more easily, day or night. Is Klear-Vol the same as Karvol?

Non-Medicated Approach: Karvol capsules offer a non-medicated option for nasal congestion relief. They can be used as a complementary or supportive measure alongside other treatments or medications.

The scent is subtle and not at all overpowering, and yet I can see an almost immediate difference in how easily she breathes when lying down.Information about Karvol Plus Capsule It contains chlorothymol, menthol, terpin, camphor, and eucalyptus. These compounds are known to be powerful anti-inflammatory agents that aid in the treatment of various infections such as sinusitis. It is also used in the treatment of cold sores, common cold, asthma, and cough. My only criticisms are that the refill pads don’t seem to last as long at home, they are pretty much used up after one night rather than Karvol’s three nights. Dispense the drops: Gently tilt the Karvol bottle and squeeze the desired number of drops onto the tissue or cloth. The number of drops used may vary depending on the instructions provided. This shows that steam inhalation with Tulsi leaves and turmeric is more effective than steam inhalation with plain water in relieving symptoms of common cold. Are Karvol capsules harmful? Position the tissue or fabric near the nose or in a location where the vapors can be inhaled comfortably.
